Wendy is originally from New Zealand but started her pottery career in Calgary.
She made functional pottery for a number of years and then founded her company, Mystic Fire Raku where she sold widely across Canada
In 2006 she left with her husband to sail the world for 7 years.
She returned to Saltspring Island and resumed making functional pottery which reflect visions of the land and sea.
