I'm drawn to the natural world and inspired by many design aesthetics. Whether I am creating handcrafted jewelry from precious metals and gemstones or functional ceramics, each piece I make is a unique combination of those influences.
My creative process usually begins with observing the intricacy of nature, and then distilling those observations into simplified shapes and patterns. I then incorporate these shapes into my designs, often juxtaposing them with clean lines and geometric forms. The resulting pieces are a harmonious blend of organic and industrial elements, and serve as a bridge between the natural world and contemporary design.
I believe that art has the power to elevate the every-day… whether adorning a body or a home, my hope is that my creations will bring joy and inspiration to those who use and wear them
