In a career still in its second decade, an eagerly anticipated visitor to opera houses and concert halls the world over, Isabel has become as celebrated for her beauty, presence and style as for her strikingly multi-hued voice that’s wholly in sync with the rest of her image.
  4. Find your own lucky charm in the clover fields of Burgoyne Bay in honour of St. Patrick's Day or see why Salt Spring Island is a rainbow hotspot during Spring showers (if you're lucky - maybe you'll even find a pot of gold hidden by those sneaky leprechauns!)

Through their individual pan-Canadian backgrounds, Tim Newton, Sage McBride, Jordan Vlasschaert, Ian Page-Shiner, and Ty West have amplified the traditional sound of folk music with a more contemporary approach.  Pushing the boundaries of the genre, they have incorporated a wide range of influences to create a sound that is uniquely called ‘Stoke Folk.’

  11. Dave Gunning | Thursday 23rd | 7:30pm to 9:30pm | ArtSpring: 100 Jackson Avenue | $23 | There are stories that wash over you like a tide, and then there are stories that grab you by the heart.
