Salt Spring Island is surrounded by beautiful farms and on October 4th, it's illustrious apple growing history was celebrated at the 16th Salt Spring Island Apple Festival which included over a dozen tour stops from apple farms to cider houses and vineyards to displays showcasing over 300 apple varieties that grow on the Island.
