Salt Spring Island Toy Run | Friday 24th to Sunday 26th | Farmer's Institute: 351 Rainbow Road | Help raise funds for toys at this weekend long extravaganza featuring a cross-Salt Spring Island motorcycle ride, entertainment, games, food, a beer garden and camping. All Aboard to Explore! Saturdays in July and August offer an opportunity to explore four southern Gulf Islands (or the other way around!) aboard the Gulf Islands Water Taxi - with daily departures to the nearby islands of Galiano or Mayne. Depart from Ganges Harbour and see why the Gulf Islands and the surrounding Salish Sea are considered one of the most beautiful places in Canada! From the water or from the shore, keep a lookout for an Orca Superpod!
