Market vendors
-
this site exists because of you. Your listing is FREE.

Why FREE listings for vendors?
This site was created in 1998, and is managed on a volunteer basis by a former market vendor who wanted to see our market have a presence online.

Why create a market site?
Every day people check out this site as they make holiday plans for Salt Spring. Our goal is to inform on-line visitors about the market and have them schedule their visits around Market Day.

This site is also your link to all those visitors who pass through Salt Spring during the market season. If someone wants to contact you after they return home, because they REALLY want that piece they saw at your booth, this makes it easy. Feel free to use the address of this site on any promotional literature. Even though you may not have your own web site, visitors will still be able to contact you if your info appears on this  site.

Who gets the money from the ads sold on this site?
Good question. This market web site is heavily promoted through on-line advertising, print advertising and special promotions. This promotion benefits all the vendors listed on site and it costs money. Since this site is created and maintained on a volunteer basis, no one gets paid. The ad revenue is turned around and used to promote on the internet so that MORE people can learn about the market.

We only list folks who ask to be listed.
If you don't see your name listed on this site and you'd like a free listing... click here.  If you want more exposure, that can be arranged...it's called advertising. If you want some kind of web presence, but don't know how to do it, email us because we help artisans get online exposure for less money.
